Over the past 12 months the NOMEN have been preparing physically and mentally for the gruelling challenge that awaits them. Mark Gleeson who earns his keep as a Personal Trainer has implemented a strength, fitness and conditioning program for the team to follow.
The NOMEN will notch up in excess of 150km of rowing, running and cycling each week on top of strength and core sessions and practising out on the water.

Over the course of the race the team are expected to lose over 12kg of body weight despite the 10,000 calories they will be consuming each day in order to fuel their bodies.
