On Sunday 31 July, NOMAN riders took to the streets of the capital to tackle Ride London: a 100 mile sportive on closed roads through the city and its magnificent surroundings. Over 26,000 amateur cyclists take on a similar route to that of the London 2012 Olympic Road Race — starting in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park before racing through the capital out into Surrey and its hills before snaking back to London for a grandstand finish on The Mall outside Buckingham Palace.

The discomfort of a 4.00am wake up to make the start line was more than made up for by the fantastic weather and closed roads to speed along, that in addition to the enthusiasm of the volunteers and the roaring crowds in Trafalgar Square made it a special day’s riding. NOMAN will be back!

Team NOMAN 2015 won both the Trois Etapes Giro and the Trois Etapes Tour pro-ams! Just a year earlier, Team NOMAN 2014 came in second in the Trois Etapes Giro Pro-am. The Trois Etapes events presented a unique opportunity for cyclists of all ages and abilities to ride the climbs of the Grand Tours with professional cyclists. No other event in the world gave amateurs the thrill of pro cycling quite like the Trois Etapes. Each team was led by a pro rider and surrounded with the luxury of team radios, soigneurs, mechanics and cars. Check out the gallery section for photography and video.

The Trois Etapes Tour took place in  the Pyrenees where riders took on the giant climbs of the most famous professional race in the world. The Hautacam, Col d’Aubisque, Col du Soulor and Col du Tourmalet were all featured across the three stages. With timed sections structured to create competition, incentivise tactical riding and drive team cohesion.

Stage 1: Col du Soulor and Col d’Aubisque

Stage 2: Col des Borderes and Hautacam

Stage 3: Col du Tourmalet

The three stage Trois Etapes Giro took on the fearsome climbs of the Italian Dolomites including the Passo Fedaia.

Stage 1: Passo Staulanza and Frassene

Stage 2: Passo Fedeia and Passo Valparola

Stage 3: Passo Giau
