Ride the Passo Pordoi with NOMAN at Athlete Lab on 1st November
15 Oct 2014
Fancy taking on the toughest and most beautiful climbs in cycling?
In 2015, NOMAN will be tackling the climbs of the Grand Tours in Cosaveli’s Trois Etapes World Series and we’re looking for riders to join the team. To give you a taster, we’ll be at Athlete Lab on Saturday 1st November tackling the slopes of the Passo Pordoi in the Italian Dolomites, one of the climbs on 2015’s Trois Etapes Giro.
You’ll be powering up the Italian Dolomites on real bikes, with real gears – all from the safety and warmth of the Athlete Lab gym, London, located on Cannon Street close to Monument Underground Station. It’s free to take part and sessions will be running at both 8.30am and 10am. This is your chance to get a feel for the events, learn more about the campaign and to quiz the NOMEN about taking part in the events – it also beats being out in the rain in November!
To book your place follow this link and sign up to the session of your choice – at checkout you will be able to redeem your first ride as free. Places are limited and you must book in order to participate on the day.
Changing rooms/shower facilities are available for both males and females at Athlete Lab. All of the bikes are fitted with Shimano pedals, so if your cycling shoes have Shimano cleats, feel free to bring your own, otherwise you can borrow shoes for your ride at reception.
The NOMAN campaign aims to raise awareness about the human papillomavirus (HPV) related cancer epidemic in men and women, campaign for universal HPV vaccination, while challenging participants to extreme endurance races across the world.
