Looking for that challenge to fuel your New Year’s keep-fit resolution? Stop searching and become a NOMAN.
“These events are phenomenal and being part of NOMAN is one of those unique experiences. It’s the buzz and atmosphere that you get from working with people you’ve never met before, from different walks of life but you’re all here for one cause. To raise conversation and create awareness around HPV, so that people involved can go on to spread the word, to help more people understand about why this vaccine is so important. I love being part of Team NOMAN.”
Mark Hunter, Olympic Gold Medallist, World Champion and NOMAN Ambassador
Being a NOMAN is about standing up to be counted, persevering in the face of adversity and focusing on the success to come. But NOMAN is more than a race, it’s a call to action. It’s about being part of a solution. To eradicate the human papillomavirus (HPV) and prevent 5% of cancers.
Since 2013, individuals have been challenged to achieve incredible feats. Our inaugural and biennial event, the Barcelona-Ibiza: Row to End HPV continues to be popular attaining press coverage on an international scale as a unique endurance challenge. In 2014, our NOMEN broke the world record for the youngest crew to row the Pacific from California to Hawaii, whilst in 2015 our cycling teams triumphed in the Italian Dolomites and French Pyrenees as part of the Trois Etapes Series.
2017 will be equally challenging as NOMAN returns with the ultimate endurance events, and we’re looking for participants to join us for:
Barcelona to Ibiza: Row to End HPV
BARCELONA – IBIZA (21st – 30th July)
IBIZA – BARCELONA (26th July – 3rd August)
The NOMAN Campaign’s exclusive ocean rowing race, the BARCELONA – IBIZA: ROW TO END HPV, returns in 2017 and you could be joining a team of fellow amateur rowers in a 200-mile/3-day race across the Mediterranean while creating memories to last a lifetime.
Rowing across an ocean or sea is like no other sport. Ocean rowing is as much about the crews’ ability to cope mentally, as it is about technique and physical strength. You will participate in training sessions conducted by expert ocean rowers and receive tailored coaching by former Olympic gold medalists based on your fitness and ability. No prior ocean rowing experience necessary.
Only a few spots remaining. Register now to avoid disappointment.
